Shokolat Nut Oatmeal Balls

Dare’s favorite recovery food when exhausted or ravenous, like after draining his magic.

  • Shokolat Nut Butter
    • 2 cups hazelnuts (ground into paste)
    • 2 tbs shoko
    • 2 tbs honey
    • 1 tsp vahnila
  • Oatmeal Balls
    • 2 1/2 cups rolled oats
    • 1 cup shokolat nut butter
    • 1/2 cup honey
    • 1 tsp vahnila

Make shokolat nut butter: Combine dry ingredients and blend until mixed. Add wet ingredients and blend until smooth. If want sweeter, add more honey. Store in a jar.

Make oatmeal balls: Stir together all ingredients but oats until mixed. Add oats then mix until well combined. Roll into 2-tbs size balls. Chill for 30 minutes or enjoy right away. Once set, store chilled in container for up to 2 weeks. Makes 20 balls.

If friends with some melissae, replace the honey with ambrosia for an especially potent recovery food.
