With the second largest port in Calatini, Valcrest is home to Calatini’s puissant navy. The navy has three academies in Valcrest serving Calatini’s twelve fleets, and the fleets often perform war games in Valcrest waters. The major industries of Valcrest are ship building and naval weaponry manufacturing.

Golddell

Ruling Family: Destry

The least populous duchy of Calatini, Golddell is dominated by the Nightmara Plains. Since they are on the southern border, the nightmara and the mara clans are essential to Calatini’s defense against the massive Tsarkan Empire. The nightmara are a sovereign people, so only the mara clans and other humans form Golddell’s populace. Due to their association with the nightmara, most humans in Golddell are horse-mad, and they breed the best horses and ponies in Calatini.

Oakmoor

Ruling Family: Tremblay

Full of picturesque hills and nestled against the D’vark Mountains, Oakmoor is known for its fantastic art, handicrafts, and music. However, Oakmoor has no large academies, the masters there prefer to train their apprentices in small groups. Famous artists, artisans, and musicians often retire to Oakmoor and accept very few apprentices.
