Gingyr Buck

Oakmoor’s favorite spiritpunch

  • 2 oz spiritwater
  • 1 tbsp fresh lyme juice (about 1/2 medium lyme)
  • 10 mentha leaves
  • 5 slices of fresh gingyr (coin-shaped)
  • 1 tbsp grated gingyr
  • 1 cup ice (preferably crushed)
  • 4 oz sparkling gingyr
  • optional garnishes: mentha, lyme, candied gingyr, cucumber

Add all ingredients except ice, sparkling gingyr, and garnishes together in a large shaker. Mash mentha and gingyr slices with a fork to release flavor. Add ice then shake until cold (around 30s.) Strain into chilled copper mug to keep spiritpunch extra cold. Top with sparkling gingyr. Add additional ice if desired. Gently stir to mix. Garnish with any/all optional garnishes. Enjoy immediately.
