The Lost Grimoire

To Lady Juliet, Royal Witch of Calatini

Dear Lady Juliet,

Thank you for explaining about Rhiannon descendants. That makes more sense than all those disparate people being related. Thinking of Rhiannon, where do you believe she concealed the Lost Grimoire from the Amun Prophecy? Is hunting for it a worthy pursuit for a young witch?

Thanks,

Mordred Thyme

Dear Mr. Thyme,

Rhiannon (and her husband) traveled across all of Damensea training witches, so Rhiannon could have concealed her grimoire anywhere. (Or anywhen if you believe Rhiannon sent it to another time, which is a possibility considering her powers.) Many believe Rhiannon concealed her grimoire at her witch school in Oress or at the seer’s tower in Orandia; however, I doubt she concealed it at either—they are too obvious. Plus, hunters for the Lost Grimoire have searched both areas since ’twas hidden over two millennia ago.

No, I do not believe hunting for the Lost Grimoire is a worthy pursuit. The Amun Prophecy foretells it shall return during our greatest need, so hunting for it now is simply a waste of time. A young witch would be better served to diligently study all forms of magic and learn how to create their own, new spells. Then if we are fortunate, we shall no longer need the Lost Grimoire when it does emerge.

Sincerely,

Lady Juliet, Royal Witch of Calatini
